Why are activity units more useful than milligrams?
Milligrams describe weight. Activity units describe how the enzyme performs under a defined test, which is the more meaningful measure of enzyme strength.
Does lactase make this safe for a dairy allergy?
No. A digestive enzyme product does not make an allergen safe. Anyone with a food allergy should follow their clinician's plan and the final product's allergen information.
